September 29, 2010 - Daramic LLC, a division of Polypore Internation, Inc. - a leading global high technology filtration company specializing in microporous membranes - celebrated the grand opening of its new lead-acid battery separator factory in Bangalore, India on September 16 and 17, 2010.
The new 6,000 square meter factory in Bangalore, India employs over 85 skilled people and processes lead-acid battery separators primarily for the Indian lead-acid battery market. The new manufacturing facility significantly increases our presence and capabilities in this rapidly expanding region and enables Daramic to better serve the local India market.
